Water is vital for people, crops and animals, yet only 1% of all the water on earth is available for human use. In Laos, a major issue affecting the Xing Khan Province is a lack of clean water for drinking, cooking and general hygiene. Many people are affected by water-bourne illnesses which sometimes result in death.
