ADRA Implementing Partner Offices

Implementing partner offices are located within a country that is receiving funding from an ADRA supporting office for projects within their country. Usually located in a developing country, they are termed 'implementing' offices since their staff work directly with community groups within their country to implement aid and development projects.

An ADRA implementing partner office dialogues and plans with the community and then oversees and manages the project until its completion. This process includes the initial project identification, proposal writing and submission for funding and approval to a supporting partner office. Once a project is approved by the supporting office, implementation involves: hiring qualified staff, conducting meetings with the target community, purchasing materials, budget management, working with the community to achieve the project outcomes, providing education and skills-training to the community to sustain the project goals for the long-term, monitoring ongoing project progress, and reporting the project's operations to the supporting partner office.
